When to Schedule a New Construction Inspection

We recommend scheduling a new construction inspection at one or more of the following stages:

Pre-Drywall (Framing Phase)

Before the walls are sealed, we inspect framing, electrical runs, plumbing lines, HVAC ducts, and window/door installations. This is your only opportunity to see inside the structure and catch early issues.

Final Walkthrough (Pre-Closing)

Scheduled just before your final walkthrough, this inspection covers everything visible and accessible. We test systems, check finishes, and document workmanship quality.

11-Month Warranty Inspection

Most builders provide a one-year warranty. Around month 10 or 11, we can inspect the home again and document any developing problems, giving you a punch list to submit before the warranty expires.
